Selection Criteria

Minimum qualification required
for admission |
An applicant,
|
|
1. |
Must be a citizen of Sri Lanka.
|
|
2. |
Should have obtained a pass in English Language and a pass for athematics at the
G.C.E.(O/L) Examination, AND
|
|
3. |
Should have obtained four passes at the G.C.E.(A/L) Examination (old syllabus) at
one sitting with one of followings
- Pure Mathematics/ Physics/ Chemistry/ Zoology/ Botany/ Agricultural Science/ Accountancy,
OR
|
|
4. |
Should have obtained three passes at the G.C.E.(A/L) Examination (New syllabous)
at one sitting with one of followings:
- Combined Mathematics/ Physics/ Chemistry/ Zoology/ Botany/ Agricultural Science/
Accountancy.
|
|
|
Priority will be given for applicants under 23 years at the closing date
of the applications.

|
Method of Selection |
- G.C.E.(A/L) aggregate marks
- An aptitute test
- An interview
|
|
Persons following a course of study
as internal students at any University/ Campus of a university, Affiliated University
College or any Technical college or any other ATI will not eligible to apply. |
